According to the Southwest Michigan Ram dealership, the 2023 Ram 2500 is offered in six trim levels: Tradesman, Big Horn, Laramie, Rebel, Power Wagon, and Limited. There are three cab styles: regular cab, crew cab, and Mega Cab. Most models get standard four-wheel drive and available four-wheel drive.
The standard engine under the hood of the 2023 Ram 2500 is a 6.4-liter V8 that puts out 410 horsepower and 429 lb-ft of torque, matched to an eight-speed automatic transmission. There’s also an optional turbocharged 6.7-liter six-cylinder diesel engine that generates 370 hp and 850 lb-ft. This powerplant is mated to a standard eight-speed automatic transmission or an available six-speed automatic.
2023 Ram 2500 Tradesman
The Ram 2500 Tradesman trim is a basic work truck. It comes with 17-inch steel wheels, a tilt-adjustable steering wheel, a front bench seat, vinyl upholstery and floor covering, cruise control, a Class V receiver hitch, a seven-pin wiring harness, a stereo with four speakers, a 5-inch infotainment touchscreen, and two USB ports.
2023 Ram 2500 Big Horn
The Big Horn trim adds 18-inch wheels, a cloth bench seat, power locks and windows, remote keyless entry, heated and power-folding mirrors, a trailer light check system, an integrated trailer brake controller, and floor mats.
2023 Ram 2500 Laramie
The Laramie trim takes the feature list to the next level, adding remote engine start, LED interior lighting, leather upholstery, a heated steering wheel, power-adjustable and heated front seats, power-telescoping exterior mirrors, active noise cancellation, dual-zone automatic climate control, rear parking sensors, and a dampened tailgate. 2023 Ram 2500 Rebel
The new Rebel trim features improved off-road ability. It comes with four-wheel drive, off-road suspension tuning, a locking rear axle, a rear limited-slip differential, underbody skid plates, 20-inch wheels, all-terrain tires, LED headlights, LED fog lights, hill descent control, and recovery hooks. Other standard features include cloth seats, all-weather floor mats, cab clearance lighting, power-adjustable pedals, black exterior badging, a sport hood design, fender flares, a remote rear tailgate release, a digital instrumentation display, front and rear parking sensors, and a surround-view camera system.
2023 Ram 1500 Power Wagon
The Power Wagon trim is another off-road trim. It features four-wheel drive with a manual-shift transfer case, off-road performance suspension tuning, 17-inch wheels, all-terrain tires, powder-coated front and rear bumpers, a disconnecting front stabilizer bar, locking front and rear axles, and an electric winch.
2023 Ram 1500 Limited
The range-topping Limited trim comes with 20-inch wheels, upgraded interior materials and trim, RamBox in-bed storage bins (short bed), a 12-inch infotainment touchscreen, a wireless charging pad, and blind-spot warning with rear cross-traffic alert.
