The 2022 Jeep Wrangler is a capable compact SUV with iconic styling. At first glance, you may not notice a significant change in the Wrangler from models in the past. But look closely, and you’ll find that today’s Wrangler provides more comfort and convenience features than its predecessors. 2022 Jeep Wrangler Trim Levels
The two-door 2022 Jeep Wrangler is offered in six trim levels at dealers like the Niles Jeep dealership, listed as Sport, Willys Sport, Sport S, Willys, Sahara and Rubicon. All-wheel drive is standard across the lineup. The two-door Wrangler is also offered in a four-door variant called the Wrangler Unlimited and a Wrangler Unlimited 4xe plug-in hybrid model. The Wrangler is equipped with a standard 3.6-liter V6 engine that makes 286 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque, mated to a standard six-speed automatic transmission or an available eight-speed automatic. An optional turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine is good for 270 hp and 295 lb-ft. This unit is linked to the eight-speed automatic.
2022 Jeep Wrangler Sport
Standard features for the Wrangler’s base Sport trim include 17-inch black steel wheels, all-season tires, a Sunrider soft top, halogen headlights and foglights, push-button start, manual windows and door locks, manually adjustable front bucket seats, cloth upholstery, three tow hooks, skid plates, manually adjustable side mirrors, and a rearview camera. The infotainment system features a 5-inch touchscreen, an eight-speaker stereo setup, voice activation, Bluetooth, two USB ports and an auxiliary jack.
2022 Jeep Wrangler Willy Sport
The Willys Sport adds even more ruggedness to the 2022 Jeep Wrangler. It comes with 17-inch low-gloss black alloy wheels, BF Goodrich 32-inch mud-terrain tires, a rear limited-slip differential, a Willys hood decal, a black grille and black headlight inserts.
2022 Jeep Wrangler Sport S
The Sport S comes with the features of the base Sport trim, plus 17-inch silver alloy wheels, keyless entry, automatic on/off headlights, power windows, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, power heated side mirrors, air conditioning, a security alarm, a 7-inch touchscreen, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
2022 Jeep Wrangler Willys
The Willys combines the best features of the Sport S and Willys Sport. It gets the Willys Sport’s limited-slip differential, 17-inch black wheels, 32-inch mud tires and black exterior trim. It also borrows many of the Sport S’s interior features, including power windows and door locks, heated side mirrors, remote entry, and the Uconnect 4 infotainment system.
2022 Jeep Wrangler Sahara
The Sahara adds comfort and style, with 18-inch wheels, body-colored grille and fender flares, full-time front-wheel drive, automatic climate control, remote entry, an 8.4-inch infotainment touchscreen with navigation, a nine-speaker audio system, satellite radio, HD Radio, a Wi-Fi hot spot, additional USB ports, a 120-volt power outlet and side steps.
2022 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon
The Rubicon adds Rubicon hood decals, 17-inch wheels with all-terrain tires, 4:1 low-range gearing, heavy-duty front and rear axles with a shorter gear ration, electronic locking front and rear differentials, an electronic disconnecting front stabilizer bar, heavy-duty Fox shock absorbers, rock sliders and an Off-Road Plus drive mode.
