2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trim Levels

The 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee is a compact SUV that’s famous for its excellent on-road handling and its superb off-road capability. As if that weren’t enough, the Grand Cherokee also has lots of curb appeal. Customers at the Bridgman Jeep dealership are suitably impressed by the Grand Cherokee’s long list of technology features. The 2020 Grand Cherokee has two optional engines that provide lots of power and exceptional towing capacity.

The 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee is available in seven trim levels at dealerships like the Jeep dealership near Bridgman: Laredo, Limited, Trailhawk, Overland, Summit, SRT and Trackhawk. Most trims are available with rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive (4WD). The Trailhawk is only offered with 4WD, while the SRT and the Trackhawk trims get dedicated all-wheel-drive systems.

We'll go over the 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee’s different trim levels and see what each one offers buyers.

Grand Cherokee Laredo

The base Laredo trim is powered by a 3.6-liter V6 engine that makes 295 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque, mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The Laredo gets a nice set of standard features that includes dual-zone automatic climate control, rear parking sensors, a six-speaker sound system, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a 7-inch touchscreen.

Grand Cherokee Limited

Limited and above models have the choice between the standard V6 engine or an available 5.7-liter V8 that makes 360 hp and 390 lb-ft of torque. Standard features for the Limited trim include a power liftgate, remote start, heated front and rear seats, a heated steering wheel, leather upholstery, power-adjustable front seats and an 8.4-inch touchscreen.

Grand Cherokee Trailhawk

The Grand Cherokee Trailhawk trim is perfect for off-roaders. It features exclusive exterior styling, 4WD with low-range gearing, off-road tires, and an electronic rear differential that works with the Quadra-Drive II terrain-selectable traction control system. An adjustable air suspension is also standard, as are an upgraded instrument display and underbody skid plates.

Grand Cherokee Overland

The Overland trim comes with similar features as the Trailhawk, but without some of the Trailhawk’s off-road equipment.

Grand Cherokee Summit

Buyers seeking a sophisticated driving experience will love the Summit trim, which starts with the features of the Overland and adds active noise-canceling technology, upgraded leather upholstery, a Harman Kardon stereo system with 19 speakers, a self-parking system and a wide array of advanced safety equipment.

Grand Cherokee SRT

The Grand Cherokee SRT trim comes with a 6.4-liter V8 engine that develops 475 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque. The SRT’s exclusive all-wheel-drive system is tuned for high-performance rather than off-roading. Otherwise, it comes with many of the same features as the Summit trim. The SRT gets standard features that include an adaptive sport-tuned suspension, summer performance tires, sport-tuned steering and brakes, a limited-slip rear differential, selectable performance modes and a sport body kit.

Grand Cherokee Trackhawk

The Trackhawk starts with most of the standard equipment as the SRT, with the addition of a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine that generates 707 hp and 645 lb-ft of torque, teamed to an upgraded eight-speed transmission. The Trackhawk gets 20-inch wheels, high-performance tires, Brembo breaks and an upgraded adaptive suspension.
